Therapy for

Adults, Children and Parents

(English and Italian)

Woman Being Free

I am a Clinical Psychologist and I offer individual therapy for adults and children. I started my private practice in New York City in 2016 after having worked for several years in outpatient clinics in New York City and in Italy. I first pursued my graduate studies in Clinical Psychology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy, and completed my clinical training at the San Raffaele Hospital’s outpatient and inpatient psychiatric unit in 2008. In this setting, I specialized in the study and treatment of Personality Disorders and obtained a fellowship to train at the Personality Disorder Institute of Weill-Cornell, New York.  I then went on to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University, New York, and trained in a variety of settings, mainly focusing on working with children, adolescents, and their families. I completed my training in child therapy at the Child Development Center of The Jewish Board of Families and Children's Services (JBFCF) and at the St. Dominic's Family Foster Care Program, working with a wide age range of children.

My primary interests include Child Development, Personality, and Cross Cultural Adjustment. With over ten years of experience as a therapist, I am currently working as a private practitioner with a broad spectrum of clients and providing individual therapy and parent-child therapy.

In my therapeutic approach, I place particular emphasis on understanding each client’s unique personality features that may have contributed to the development of their current symptoms such as: depression, anxiety, panic attacks. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach that aims to help clients build on their strengths and attain personal growth.
